This is a beautiful, warm and welcoming resort. We live in the mountains, and the temperature difference between day and night is very large. The children wore long sleeves when they had dinner. This is the first time we stayed in a hotel with a stove. When we were having dinner, the waiter came to ask if we needed to use the stove to warm up the room in the living room and master bedroom. When the children were getting ready to go to bed, they opened the quilts and found that there were hot water bottles in each quilt. It was warm and comfortable, and it warmed up all of our ❤️ [Wangchai][呲牙] Then there was another place that touched us. When choosing dessert after the meal, I told the waiter that we wanted vanilla ice cream. He told me that they only had one mixed type, one scoop of vanilla and one scoop of strawberry. There are not enough superlatives to describe Neptune Ngorongoro: proximity to the park entrance, immaculate grounds full of beautiful flowers, sumptuously decorated log cabin style spacious suites, gourmet meals - management and staff leave no detail to chance and make sure every guest has the best stay. The night wasn’t cold at all, yet we opted for lighting up the fireplace in the living room and bedroom and did not regret it. A hot water bottle in bed was a special touch as well. I was very touched that the team made quite an effort wishing me a belated birthday with a cake, candles and a lovely song and dance - moments like this are forever etched in my memory. We stayed only for one night but I can’t wait to come back. Asante sana!

Beautiful property with everything you need for a great stay. Every single staff there attended to your every need. They were all highly professional and welcoming, ensuring you have the most perfect visit! Conveniently located close to the entrance/exit of the crater, so you don’t have a long drive after a Safari day.

Nous avions choisi cet établissement afin d'y passer le 31 décembre . Dès notre arrivée nous sommes informés que ce soir (le 31) le restaurant serait en formule buffet...loin de ce que nous esperions, car notre choix s'était fait sur la cuisine, chose importante pour nous . Et là l'horreur ! Buffet minable, entrées insipides, plat cuisinés horribles, il y avait même des spaghettis...bref échec total de ce côté, sachant qu'après 21h plus de service !!! Mais passons à la chambre : très spacieuse, jolie terrasse et très belle vue, en revanche des mouches mortes partout au sol de la salle de bain, dans la cuvette des WC et dans le lavabo !!! Bref pour le prix exorbitant payé, nous recommandons au directeur de surveiller un peu mieux la qualité de ce qui est proposé

Fatal, es un quiero y no puedo. El servicio es bueno, pero no de un 5 estrellas, las habitaciones son bonitas y grandes, pero pierde mucho, la ropa de cama patética, vieja, llena de bolas, pesa, ropa. No de 5 estrellas La nevera de la habitación no funciona bien y eso que me aloje a la ida hacia Serengeti y a la vuelta, 2 habitaciones cada reserva y no La segunda vez que regresamos al hotel, las almohadas que habíamos pedido 4 días antes, ya no estaban, la cama supletoria que pedimos que se hiciera dentro de la habitación y no en el salón la primera vez, sorpresa, otra vez estaba hecha fuera. NO SON UN HOTWL DE 5 estrellas! Lo que les salva son las vistas que son impresionantes, el lugar es maravilloso, pero que mal lo hacen. Es un robo, te cobran muchísimo dinero y no recibes lo que pagas. Los muebles de la recepción, como los sofás viejos, te sientas y te vas hasta el fondo. La comida está bastante regular, no es de un 5 estrellas, hay menús hechos y eliges una opción de cada, pero no es un menú extenso, ni un servicio 5 estrellas. Es una pena, porque la vista es preciosa desde la habitación, pero no recomendaría jamás venir a este hotel a alguien que sabe lo que es y busca un servicio top de 5 estrellas (que es lo que te venden) Mención especial a Veronica, que fue nuestra Camarena y se esforzó y lo hizo muy bien. This was a splurge reservation at the end of our ten days in Tanzania. What a treat that was-especially after struggling with Internet and other “missing” items at other properties. Everything about the Neptune property was first rate from the furnishings to the food to the convenience and the staff.
Yes, the price point was higher than we normally spend but truly if you get what you pay for, the price seems justified. At Neptune we received what we paid for and then some!
